Trubled Times
Picture Herefor those times when you're having troubles

When I was first asked to write this advice column, I was thrilled to be able to give back some of what I have gained from living the life of leather and to help others along the path.

Then I started to panic.  I'm not qualified!  Why should anyone listen to what I have to say!  Why would anyone ask me for advice in the first place!  What if I make a mistake! After the initial panic attack, I calmed down and realized that advice is never meant to 'lead' anyone down a path, only to show other ways of thinking so that people can make their own decisions.  It's all about knowledgeable consent and if I can help in that, I am happy to do so.

I have always had an interest in BDSM, since I was a very young child but didn't have my first r/t session until July 3, 1982.  I knocked on the Doms door at 4:50 and didn't go home until after 1 AM in the morning.  I think it's obvious it made an impression on me.  That first session hooked me r/t on BDSM and I've been steeped in the leather vats ever since.  I spent the first seven years exploring my submissive nature.  Serving, learning and gaining self knowledge, understanding and acceptance.  After seven years, my switch got flipped and I concentrated on my Dominate side.  I learned the techniques, toys and language of a Domme and really enjoyed learning even more of myself and what I was truly about.  Then I met Michael.. my current partner and have spent the last 4 1/2 years as a switch, serving Michael as his 24/7 submissive while enjoying the freedom he gives me to Dominate others ! when I, and they, have the desire that I do so.  Encompassing all sides of my true self, continuing my education in leather, joining organizations, doing demo's, lectures, writing, web design and even founding an educational based BDSM organization has opened up this world for me in ways I had never dreamed possible.  I count my blessings and know how lucky I am.

Please feel free to write with the word 'advice' in the subject line and I will answer all questions either in the eZine or to your personal mailbox if we run out of room. The toy box is now open.

Bright Blessings,

Celeste
